Noia’s Cockle Festival, organised by the San Bartolomé Fishermen’s Association, is held in the month of October with the objective of promoting this star product of Noia’s gastronomy. Tastings are held over a weekend featuring different ways of preparing this seafood delicacy, as well as cooking shows, masterclasses, talks, debates and many other activities, accompanied by parades with street bands and folk groups that add a musical touch to the festival.
